For the "Empty Gesture" series, I created empty stages; installations that were proposals for performances that could or have happened but where the performer is absent.
Empty Gesture (Proposal I) - Materials: spotlight, cardboard box, microphone, microphone stand, paint, linoleum tile
Empty Gesture (Proposal II) - Materials: autobond, velcro, skateboard, cinder block, strobe light, dead flowers, broken umbrella
Empty Gesture (Proposal III) - Materials: foam mat, pillowcase, aquarium gravel, fish hook, monofilament wire
